Green Peanut Butter Smoothie
This is our spin on the Oh She Glows Green Monster Smoothie, and is a favourite in our house. Our toddler asks to make is most mornings (#momwin). It’s truly delicious, nourishing and energizing.
Recipe:
2 ripe bananas
3 handfuls of spinach
2 tbsp ground flax seeds
1 scoop protein powder
1/4 avocado (optional, for texture)
4 tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter)
1-2 cups milk alternative (we use cashew, macadamia or oat)
water to fill the rest of the blender
Method:
Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high for 1-2 mins until very smooth. Nobody likes a chunky smoothie. Enjoy!
